Brody's first owie

Yesterday we were playing outside and Brody decided he was going to just walk off the step. Pretty soon I hear Ow, Ow and a small whine, pretty soon Brody starts to hold his knee and I lift his shorts to find this scrape

He was so sad and had a huge pout on his face once I saw it. I wish I could have gotten a picture but I wasn't fast enough. I am pretty sure this will be the first of many scraped knees but it is still so sad!

Could this be his first fort?!?!?!?

As I sit here wondering what story I can update my blog with, I happen to look down and see this in between my legs!!!!

Brody has stared to "collect" things from different rooms of the house and "Hide" them under the computer desk, as you can see from this picture.

He gets so proud and just smiles the biggest smile at you, sometimes it's frustrating because he gets into things he shouldn't but with that smile it's really hard to get mad!

My first play in the dirt!!!

He started just pulling it onto the sidewalk....

Then just figured it was WAY easier to just get in the dirt!!

He loved throwing it all over so it was in his diaper, down his shirt, in his hair and everywhere else!!!

Brody had tried to eat the dirt and made mudd instead, i guess he didn't like the extra iron!!


It was such a nice day!!! 81 to be exact! He loved just playing outside and making a mess. He was so sad to have to go inside but was ok when that meant taking a bath! I hope it starts to stay this warm everyday!!!!

He's Walking!!!

Brody is now 15 months and just starting walking on monday!! He started out doing this frankenstein walk which was so cute but now he is alot more steady. I am hoping that soon he will realise that things dont move out of the way for him, he needs to go around them!! Here is a short video of him walking SO far then to play with the dog! Enjoy!!!

I am so excited to be having another boy! I wasn't so excited in the begining, but not I and so happy!!! I personally take it as a sign that I am not done having kids, cause if this one was a girl... I think i'd be done!!! This one has been so tough!
