You know its bad when.....

I got a text message yesterday morning from a friend saying that one of the employees at work just threw up in the bathroom and that her brother and sister had both been confirmed with the swine flu this week.... OH GREAT! Well I freak out and instantly call in and say I WILL NOT come in until the build has been taken care of and cleaned. So I show up to work today (after they told me that a company came in and cleaned the building) and there is sanitizer and pamphlets all over informing people of the signs and symptoms. I think that how could you even show up to work knowing that you have a HUGE risk of having it? Oh the nerve of some people!!!!! But I did get a kick out of a supervisor telling me that they came in FULL body suits with masks and gloves and just cleaned the building! I just imagined the sight from the road!!! I think that my hands are going to be so raw from all the washing and the sanitizer! I hope all is well and Swine Flu free!

I'm a Slacker!!!

I am sorry that I have been slacking so bad! Here is a quick update on our family: Daxie is cutting his first tooth and is not a very pleasant one at doing this not to mention his reflux acting up and having a cold, Dax has stared to try to crawl well army crawl that is! You know its pretty hard when you carry around extra body fat!!! Brody is well a Super Fun 2 years old!!! He is excellent at throwing tantrums, REAL GOOD! But I am happy to say that he is fully potty trained and is overall a good kid! Jon and I are good as well! The chickens are getting so big and are so fun to play with. We got to "chick"sit this past weekend there for we had 12 chicks!!! Our chicks are now outside in a coop and the house is so fresh smelling!!!! I will have to post some pictures of the babies and the coop they now reside in! On another note I have a new obsession!! I LOVE making watch bands! I love that I can have one for every outfit and in every color! IF anyone wants one I make them for cheap!!! Just let me know the color and I will make it quick! I also have the watch faces if you need one, I will also ship it where ever! Again I will post pictures here soon! We hope that everyone is doing well and all is safe and healthy! We look forward to seeing ALL the family at the reunion next month!

My Eight New Babies

About 5 Weeks ago I decided that it would be fun to raise some chicken. So I did TONS of research on them, everything from breeds to coops. Then I went on to a website called MyPetChicken.com and ordered six Rhode Island Reds. I was thrilled but wouldn't have them for 5 weeks,it probably didn't help that I ran out and bought everything for these babies. About 4 weeks ago we went to IFA and CAL ranch stores where they had baby chicks. Mom and I wanted to buy a few right then but Raymond said NO and that it was too risky with picking a rooster, so with our heads hung we left. Then a week later we go back to CAL Ranch and they had gotten a new shipment of chicks and had a bin with guaranteed girls..... well then he saw her, FLO is her name! So we picked another and went home. They have been so much fun and are a blast to play with and take outside (when its nice...)! Well yesterday was the day when I got a call from the post office at 5:00am saying that they had a "Peeping Box" for me! I jumped right up and left to get them. There they were just a peeping away, I felt bad that I couldn't even get the box open cause I didn't have scissors but we made it home and there they were........
Here is the picture of what I saw when I opened the box

Notice the one by itself..... Well that one is June as in Junior, as in Daxie junior ( get it, red hair and fat!!!)
they are so much fun and we cant wait for the 45 eggs a week we will get... ya if you want some lets us know we will be HAPPY to give you some! But not until about August!
Here is another picture for now with the two other ones also

I guess I should mention the names we have for them, most of them are after Famous redheads...
BEE - Brody insisted that we named her that
Flo - Rays Mothers name
Rush - Jon's favorite band
Lucille - Lucille Ball
Ginger - Geri Haliwell ( yes the spice girl!)
June - After Daxie
That is all we have for now but I am thinking of Norma jean (Marilyn Monroe)Kate, Amy or Debra. Let me know what you think!!!!

Graduation Day

Aaron's graduation was on Friday and it was fun and sad at the same time! I forgot to post this first picture on the first post I did with the security check.

This is the sign that you first see as you pull up to the base.

This is Aaron getting his castle pin

Aaron walking off the stage after his name called out and pin put on.

After the graduation we went outside then the soldiers stood in their line one more time as the drill Sargent wish them luck.

He just found out that he will be DRIVING to Ft. Hood Texas, that's 12 1/2 hours away.

We are so proud of Aaron!

We stopped and got him some lunch so that he isn't hungry for his long bus ride!

There were soldiers and bags all over the field all waiting for their bus.

Here are some of the buses

Coming back for one last goodbye

Loading things all on the bus

We love you Aaron and wish you all the best, We love you!
