Graduation Day

Aaron's graduation was on Friday and it was fun and sad at the same time! I forgot to post this first picture on the first post I did with the security check.

This is the sign that you first see as you pull up to the base.

This is Aaron getting his castle pin

Aaron walking off the stage after his name called out and pin put on.

After the graduation we went outside then the soldiers stood in their line one more time as the drill Sargent wish them luck.

He just found out that he will be DRIVING to Ft. Hood Texas, that's 12 1/2 hours away.

We are so proud of Aaron!

We stopped and got him some lunch so that he isn't hungry for his long bus ride!

There were soldiers and bags all over the field all waiting for their bus.

Here are some of the buses

Coming back for one last goodbye

Loading things all on the bus

We love you Aaron and wish you all the best, We love you!

The Before and After

this was Aaron 4 months ago

This is Aaron today!

Family Day with Aaron

Today we had a family day with Aaron on and off of the base.

This was our check point to get on the base where every one in the car had to show their ID.

Once we arrived we went to the Baker Theater on the base to have an orientation and watch a short video.

Well we sat there and the lights wents down so we all thought it was about to start... WELL the power was out so we just sat in the autitorium and listened to the leaders in the dark along with a screaming child whos mother would not take out until the leader asked her to leave.

There is our Aaron in the middle.

These are the pins he has earned while in training. The pin on the left is one he got for being a grenade expert, the one on the right is for sharp shooter rifle.
The top left red Ribbon is for National Defense Security (NDS) And the one on the right is The Army Service Ribbon.

The Engineer Regimental Crest is the one above his name tag

Aarons happy face!

Jon and I happy to see our AirBear!!!

This was Aarons Barracks

Part of the Berlin wall is located on the base. This was the sign telling the story.

The actual wall

Jonathon standing in the area

After we toured the base we drove to Rolla (about 30 miles) to Matts Steakhouse. oh my this place is so GOOD!!!

This picture isnt the greatest to see but i ordered some fried mushrooms and they were enormous! They were like the size of my fist!

The cute waitress took a family picture for us on the fire place.

Tomorrow is his graduation and I will have more pictures to post! Then its on to tour St. Louis!!

Day one in St. Robert/ Ft. Leonard wood

Jon and I a along with Jon's parents came out to St. Robert/ Ft Leonard Wood for Aaron's boot camp graduation. I was extremely nervous to fly I was so sick Tuesday night and Wednesday morning!!! But I made it! We didn't get to do much on our first day cause its a 3 hour flight to St. Louis and then a 2 1/2 Drive to St. Robert. So I don't have too many pictures for our first day.

Mom and Dad before take off

Randomness

I know I have been the worst updater lately but there has just been so much going on! Here are some updates....
1. Brody is almost fully potty trained now. He has not had an accident in over a week!! Yay I thought he was going to be so hard to train and he has actually been super easy!
2. I have had pink eye twice in the past week....
3. Dax is now sitting on his own and can roll over! He is getting so big!
4. we go to the Childrens Museum just about every Friday ( we need some friends though...)
5. Jon and I got new laptops and we are loving them! they have Webcams and brody thinks its so cool! Here are some of the random pictures we have taken.....

For all of you that have to train a little boy I highly reccomend the baby bjorn potty it is the best one for little boys since they are built different than girls, it has an oval hole instead of round which really helps them get it in the potty! I got mine at babies r us but you can order them online from target and other places.
Heres what it look like...

There are some that are one solid color and one piece, they are very tiny, brody looked like a 6'10" person on a baby potty!
